Doug graduated from Pacific Lutheran University, after which he went to work for a small Tacoma, Washington CPA firm eventually becoming a Shareholder. Doug ran the firm for 12 years selling his interest in 2014. Doug joined a Portland Oregon firm bringing over 80 Washington clients with him In January of 2017. In January of 2020, Dou
Doug graduated from Pacific Lutheran University, after which he went to work for a small Tacoma, Washington CPA firm eventually becoming a Shareholder. Doug ran the firm for 12 years selling his interest in 2014. Doug joined a Portland Oregon firm bringing over 80 Washington clients with him In January of 2017. In January of 2020, Doug bought a Beaverton practice owned by Steven Schmidt. Over the next few years, it became clear that, for Doug to provide top-notch services to his clients, he needed to leave the Portland firm and strike out on his own. In June of 2023, Doug left the Portland firm and started his own firm in July of 2023.
Doug believes in providing top-notch service to his clients and taking care of his staff. He gives clients his cell number and answers client calls as late as 7:00PM during the week. He also, as a rule, tries to respond to client emails within 24 business hours. Doug believes that he is not just your tax preparer but your tax advisor and, as such, encourages his clients to contact him throughout the year with any questions.
In his spare time Doug enjoys watching sports, travelling, and spending time with loved ones and two cats.

Justin graduated in June 2019 with a bachelor's degree in accounting and a minor in Communication from Portland State University. Before graduating, Justin became the first intern at a Portland Oregon CPA Firm which is where he met Doug. Justin decided to depart the Portland Oregon firm in May of 2023, to join a smaller Milwaukie, Oregon
Justin graduated in June 2019 with a bachelor's degree in accounting and a minor in Communication from Portland State University. Before graduating, Justin became the first intern at a Portland Oregon CPA Firm which is where he met Doug. Justin decided to depart the Portland Oregon firm in May of 2023, to join a smaller Milwaukie, Oregon firm in June of 2023. Justin decided to depart from the Milwaukie firm at the end of November to join Doug’s practice in December of 2023.
In September 2024, Justin obtained his EA credential. Then in August 2025, Justin obtained his CPA license.
Outside of work, Justin likes to spend time with his family, watching sports, golfing, playing softball & basketball, and hiking.
